AncestryMap – End-User License

Effective Date: May 13, 2025

1. Grant of License

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the AncestryMap application strictly for personal and non-commercial purposes.

The application is provided as a standalone HTML file that runs locally in your browser without the need for an internet connection, installation, or login.

2. Restrictions

You are not permitted to:

Modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or alter the application in any way
Distribute or republish the application or any derivative works
Use the application in commercial products, services, or platforms
Remove or obscure copyright, authorship, or source references

3. Ownership

The AncestryMap application and its contents are the intellectual property of Nion Maron Dransfeld. All rights not expressly granted under this license are reserved.

4. Source of Truth

The official and only authorized version of AncestryMap is available at:

https://ancestrymap.nionmaron.com/

Any version obtained from third-party sources is not authorized and may be unsafe or altered. Use of unofficial versions violates this license.

5. Disclaimer

This software is provided "as-is", without warranties of any kind. The author shall not be liable for any damages, data loss, or issues arising from the use or misuse of the application.

6. Termination

This license is automatically terminated if you breach any of the terms. Upon termination, you must cease using the application and delete all copies in your possession.
